Two men were shot and killed in downtown San Jose early Sunday morning, police said. The shooting happened at about 2:20 a.m. along the 100 block of Paseo de San Antonio, according to police. Officers already working in the area responded quickly and found the two men suffering from at least o ne gunshot wound each. Medical personnel tried to save them, but they died at the scene, police said. Police did not immediately release any information about a suspect or suspects, but they did say the shooting is being investigated as an isolated incident. A motive wasn’t immediately known. The identities of the victims will be released by Santa Clara County’s medical examiner office, police said. This marks the second and third homicides in San Jose this year, police said.
