A bomb threat that turned out to be unfounded caused Temple Hospital’s Emergency Department to briefly divert ambulances on Saturday, a hospital spokesperson said in a statement to NBC10. The bomb threat was received at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, forcing the hospital to issue a Code Black and put in place a temporary ambulance divert, the spokesperson said. “There was no interruption to internal patient services and no evacuations were needed,” the statement read, in part.
