(WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from two special guests on Friday to talk about National Wear Red Day and efforts to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease in women. 8News anchors Autumn Childress and Madison Moore were joined by Angela Simmons, Go Red for Women chair, and Brooke Jo nes, a cardiac arrest survivor, to talk about why these efforts are important.
