The National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory at 1:33 p.m. on Friday in effect until Saturday at 1 p.m. for Jefferson County.“Snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches. Greatest accumulations are expected south of Watertown. Areas of blowing snow possible, especially near the Lake Onta rio shoreline,” can be anticipated according to the weather service. “Light snow will continue moving into the eastern Lake Ontario this afternoon.
