SLED charges inmate with contraband, and criminal conspiracy

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has charged a 30-year-old with contraband possession and criminal conspiracy.
Keante Lasoun Donaldson was charged on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026.
Donaldson who was held at the Lexington Co. Detention Center at the ti
me the incident took place is accused having an iPhone 7+.
During an interview Donaldson confessed that a correctional officer put a iPhone onto a food tray and gave the iPhone to him.
Donaldson is accused of signing into his Apple iCloud account on the same day he received the iPhone, and using it for social media.
He is also accused of letting other inmates use the phone to talk to women.
A former Lexington County Detention Center Correctional Officer, James Johnson, was also charged with criminal conspiracy and contraband on Monday, March 18, 2024.
And a Lexington County woman, Skyy Glover was charged with criminal conspiracy on Friday, March 15, 2024.
Glover is accused of planning the iPhone plan with Donaldson, who both recruited Former Lexington County Detention Center Correctional Officer James Johnson to be apart of the plan.
