The forum runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Castine Center, 63350 Pelican Drive in Mandeville, with a networking cocktail reception immediately following the event.
“Our Executive Business Forum is designed for decision makers on the Northshore with information our business leaders need to navigate in the future,” said College of Business Dean Tará Lopez. “Our presenters will take national business issues and tailor the information for Northshore businesses. The attendees will leave well-informed and energized with solutions-focused information needed to plan for the future.”
The forum will feature a range of speakers, including Heather McKay, senior vice president of employer engagement and executive director of the Strada Institute for the Future of Work; former NFL coach and leadership speaker Daron K. Roberts; Josh Wright, head of strategy and growth at Public Sector Lightcast; Michael Williamson, president and CEO of United Way of Southeast Louisiana; and Louisiana state officials such as Secretary of Economic Development Susan Bonnett Bourgeois, Secretary of Transportation and Development Glenn Ledet Jr., and Secretary of the Workforce Commission Susana “Susie” Schowen. Michael Hecht, president and CEO of Greater New Orleans, Inc., will also speak, with additional presenters to be announced.
