Oakland Super Bowl events include NFL watch party, Bad Bunnyinspired ‘Benito Bowls'
Feb 03, 2026
As Super Bowl week brings fans from around the world to the Bay Area, Oakland is making sure it’s not left out.
From watch parties to concerts, more than 25 Super Bowl events are happening across Oakland this week, drawing locals and visitors to “The Town.”
“There is so much to do,”
Baddies y Banda founder Vicky Servin said. “If I can represent for Oakland, that’s a win on my end. We are not being left out. We are creating spaces for ourselves as well.”
“Benito Bowls” – events centered around Bad Bunny’s highly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime show rather than the game itself – are popping up throughout Oakland. Servin is hosting one at Fluid510, pairing football with music, culture and community.
“This is a huge fiesta,” she said. “It’s a unique event where we are celebrating culture loudly and unapologetically, especially in this climate where we are being told to make ourselves smaller, but here we are at the world’s biggest stage.”
Other Super Bowl events in Oakland include the only official NFL watch party happening Sunday at the Henry J. Kaiser Center, plus the Divine 9 and HBCU Flag Football Classic, and Saturday’s family style food fest at the Oakland Arena featuring local chefs and artists, including rapper LaRussell.
“We are known for our food, for our culture, for our diversity,” Visit Oakland CEO Peter Gamez said. “It’s in our music and it’s showing with the events that are going on in Oakland this week.”
