(KRON) -- Police in Newark have opened a homicide investigation after finding a deceased man inside a home on Sunday, according to authorities. The Newark Police Department responded at 3:38 p.m. to a residence on Mulberry Street on the report of a suspicious death. Arriving officers found a 36-yea r-old Newark man who was unresponsive. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. (KRON4) “At the time, the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the cause of death, are still being assessed,” Newark PD said.
