On Sunday, the Seahawks and Patriots meet in Super Bowl LX (broadcast on NBC 7 and Peacock at 3:30 p.m.). Mount Carmel HS alum Rashid Shaheed will be playing for Seattle, but there are a couple more San Diego products who will take part in the Super Bowl weekend festivities. Remy (Helen Woodward Animal Center) Remy and Leo will be anchoring their teams in Puppy Bowl XXII. Both pups were adopted from the Helen Woodward Animal Center. Leo (Helen Woodward Animal Center) Since they started taking part in the Puppy Bowl seven years ago, the folks at the animal center say they’ve seen in increase in pet adoptions. The game will be broadcast on TBS and Animal Planet before the game, and there’s a very easy way to watch it while spending time with the stars. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, McGregor’s Bar Grill in Mission Valley will be holding a Puppy Bowl watch party with Remy and Leo in attendance.
