Lincoln Police Cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Feb. 1)–Lincoln Police are asking for your help in getting information for what they believe was a vehicle that possibly hit an officer directing traffic in the South Haymarket on Sunday evening, after the Nebraska/Illinois men’s basket ball game. According to a social media post from LPD, the officer was directing traffic at 8th and “M” Streets and was seen on the ground around 5:45pm.  The officer was taken to the hospital for evaluation of multiple injuries and did not recall what happened.
