Man arrested after alleged trafficking victim found by Vallejo police

Police in Vallejo arrested a man for allegedly trafficking a woman, the department said Sunday.
On Friday, officers responded to a report of human trafficking at a motel in the 400 block of Fairgrounds Drive. Police made contact with a woman who said she was in fear for her safety and had been
subjected to threats and forced sexual exploitation.
Investigators learned that the woman had allegedly been transported across multiple cities and states and was forced to do so through violence, fear and intimidation. She had visible injuries on her allegedly showing signs of battery. She was taken to the hospital for medical care and connection to other support services.
Detectives identified Julius Stinson III, 44, as the suspect in this case, the department said.
On Saturday, Stinson was found at a Motel 6 on Enterprise Street in Vallejo and he was arrested. Stinson is a felon with multiple priors such as attempted murder and voluntary manslaughter, according to police.
Stinson was booked into jail on suspicion of pimping, human trafficking by force or fear, sexual assault, assault with a deadly weapon, battery, conspiracy and false imprisonment, according to the department. He is being held without bail, according to jail records.
