LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Funeral arrangements have been announced for a 32-year-old Lexington woman who died from hypothermia following last weekend’s severe winter weather. According to her obituary, Jordyn “JoJo” Daws, a Somerset native, died after exposure during the extreme co ld. Officials have said her death was weather-related. Daws earned degrees in education and instructional design from the University of Kentucky and later worked as an instructional designer, according to the obituary. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Co. Crematory. A celebration of life will follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Daws’ family has requested donations to a humane society or that people consider adopting a dog.
