(KRON) — A 31-year-old man from San Jose died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 9 in Santa Cruz County Thursday night. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was riding south of Highway 35 at an unknown speed when his 2017 Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle crashed. Paramedics and CHP officer s responded to the crash at about 5:54 p.m. and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. “For reasons still under investigation, the driver lost control of the Suzuki, and the Suzuki collided with the asphalt roadway,” CHP said. “After the initial crash, the Suzuki and the driver continued in a southerly direction and travelled off the roadway.
