Fugitive ‘Angel' captured in Tijuana after being accused of man's murder in Oceanside

The U.S. Marshals Service announced on Thursday they arrested a 50-year-old woman and fugitive accused of murdering a man in Oceanside three years ago, then fleeing the country.
Aarin “Angel” Sorenson was wanted for killing 37-year-old Oceanside resident Jacob Sanders, whose body was found i
n an Oceanside riverbed along state Route 76 on Dec. 26, 2022.
Sorenson was arrested in Tijuana, Mexico, then transferred by Mexican authorities to USMS personnel at the San Ysidro Port of Entry.
She is scheduled to appear in court on Friday in Vista.
Investigative work from several agencies, including Oceanside Police, Escondido Police, San Diego County District Attorney and U.S. Customs and Border Protection made the arrest possible, according to the USMS.
