Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so if you’re looking to make a reservation or book an experience, now’s the time! Fresno (and our nearby neighboring communities) really have some fantastic offerings for you to choose from this year, and I wanted to highlight a few of my personal fav orites in time for you to score your spot. Without further ado, here are ___ of my favorite local date activities to enjoy for Valentine’s Day 2026! Wine Tasting on the Westside for Wine Chocolate Lover’s Weekend This is an excursion my husband and I have taken many times as our way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and it’s a super fun one! Golden Eagle Charter Busses offers a full day of tasting, stopping at five local wineries beginning mid-morning and typically ending around 4 or 5pm. It’s wonderful because it’s safe (you have a highly qualified bus driver to take you from stop to stop), the weather is typically lovely, and the wineries are lovely! Most offer chocolate pairings or small bites and some have food trucks in addition to tastings, all included with your ticket. Tickets are $125 per person and can be purchased by calling Golden Eagle Charter at 559-275-2910. (Hurry, deadline for this one is February 2!) Salsa Dancing with Pete at Carmen at Studio 65 Pete Carmen have been Salsa and other styles of Latin dance for more than 30 years and own Studio 65 which is located at 4774 N Blackstone in Fresno. They host a myriad of classes each week, that can be purchased a month at a time for very reasonable prices ($65-100 a month, depending on how many classes per week you’d like to take) however they also host special one-time events like the Dance Date Night they will be holding on Valentine’s Day this year. This event will run from 6-7:30pm on February 14th and while most classes at Pete Carmen’s can be attended without a partner, this one is for couples/duos and there will not be partner switching during the session. This event is completely beginner friendly – no prior dance experience required! Prior one-time pop-up events have been priced at $35, so I anticipate that being near the expected cost for this event. Booking needs to be done by phone, please call 559-430-6522 to secure your spot. Wonder Valley’s Valentine’s Getaway Weekend If you’re looking for an over the top weekend-long experience this year, Wonder Valley Resort (located just east of Sanger) is offering a special weekend package for $395/couple. It includes overnight accommodations from February 13th to February 14th or February 14th to February 15th, a special 4-course dinner, and a breakfast buffet in the morning. You can also add other elements to your weekend experience like rose petal turndown service, chocolate covered strawberries, and even a horsedrawn carriage ride! Wonder Valley is a beautiful, peaceful place nestled in the hills and their staff is generally very warm and accommodating. To book, visit their website here. Learn Something New! Trying something new is a wonderful way to connect with a partner and make lasting memories, plus it helps to create new neural pathways in the brain, and you get a new skill or item to enjoy afterwards! There are quite a few opportunities to learn something new with a partner this Valentine’s season in Fresno. Create a Heart Shaped Succulent Arrangement – with help from Prickly Pear Farm at Raven’s Brewery in Sanger on Sunday, February 15th at 1pm. The cost is $70/person and a drink is included.
