Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed Thursday morning in Colorado’s Clear Creek County for a crash near Silverthorne, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. As of 9:55 a.m. Thursday, eastbound I-70 was closed between exit 218 for Herman Gulch, about 13 miles east of Silverthorne, an d exit 221 for Bakerville, about 7 miles west of Silver Plume, according to state transportation officials.
