(KRON) -- A wrong-way crash involving a driver under the influence injured the suspect's dog and hospitalized one victim on Monday night, according to the Petaluma Police Department. Overturned big rig temporarily shuts down I-880 near San Leandro Petaluma police responded to the collision just afte r 8:30 p.m. in the area of Lakeville Street and Pine View Way. "The investigation determined the driver, later identified as Vincent Schrader (59, Sonoma) had traveled the wrong direction around a concrete barrier that was in place for a roadway closure, resulting in a collision with another vehicle which was occupied by a solo victim," said Petaluma police in social media post on Wednesday. Photo courtesy of Petaluma Police Department. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Schrader was arrested and taken to Sonoma County Jail where he faces multiple charges.
