Crews responded Tuesday morning to a “large” warehouse fire in Berkeley off the Eastshore Highway, fire officials said. The burned warehouse is directly next door to Berkeley Forge and Tool at 1330 Second Street.  Fire officials said the two-alarm structure fire was brought under control at 5:35 a.m. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters, officials said. Engine crews are on scene checking for hotspots, which could indicate a heat source not fully extinguished. Berkeley’s Fire Prevention team is on the scene to investigate.
