An El Cajon motorcyclist was killed Sunday in a crash in the unincorporated community of Winter Gardens in East County, the California Highway Patrol said Monday. The 30-year-old man was heading south on Winter Gardens Boulevard, near Lakeside, about 10:30 p.m. when his 2024 Harley Davidson crashed into a 2010 Toyota Prius exiting a private driveway near Lemon Crest Drive, according to CHP. The motorcyclist was ejected and died at the scene of the crash, CHP Officer Jasmine Lopez said. His name was withheld pending family notification. The 31-year-old driver of the car suffered minor injuries in the wreck. Paramedics took her to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, Lopez said.
