Blue Bottle Coffee opens first North Bay location

(KRON) -- Despite being founded in the Bay Area nearly 25 years ago, Blue Bottle Coffee just opened its first cafe in a large portion of the region. The popular locally founded chain debuted in Santa Rosa on Monday, Jan. 26, Blue Bottle announced in a press release.
The cafe is located at the Mont
gomery Village shopping center on 702 Village Court -- next to the See's Candies. This Blue Bottle is open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
It is Blue Bottle's first location in either Sonoma, Napa, or Solano County.

Blue Bottle was founded in Oakland in 2002 and has since expanded to more than 100 locations worldwide, including Japan, Korea and China.
With the Santa Rosa opening, there are now 25 Blue Bottle cafes in the Bay Area, including 13 in San Francisco, three in the East Bay and eight in the South Bay. The chain also has more than a dozen locations in New York.
Blue Bottle’s fanbase has grown through the years, with more than 506,000 followers on its Instagram page and another 157,000 on Facebook.
