The Olympic torch is quickly making its way to Milan, and soon, a UC Berkeley professor will get the opportunity to carry it. The torchbearer is Matteo Garbelotto, a forestry professor at UC Berkeley, who grew up in the tiny Italian mountain town of San Martino Di Castrozza.
