Nearly 300 flights were canceled Sunday at Denver International Airport as a massive winter storm continued across the United States. As of 10:45 a.m. Sunday, 270 flights headed in and out of DIA had been canceled and 111 had been delayed, according to flight tracking software FlightAware. Another 1 70 flights were canceled at the airport the day before. United canceled 100 flights at DIA on Sunday, followed by 90 from Southwest, 26 from SkyWest, 17 from Delta, 17 from Frontier, 15 from American Airlines, 3 from Air Canada and 2 from JetBlue. Another six airlines delayed between one and five flights. The ongoing winter storm canceled more than 11,300 flights at airports across the country on Sunday, with another 13,700 failing to leave the gate on time, according to FlightAware.
