FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A Fort Wayne house suffered some damage during a fire on Friday. The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the 7200 block of Shady Lane around 3 o’clock Friday afternoon where they found smoke coming from the front of the house.  Only one person was in the home at th e time of the fire and was able to self-evacuate before firefighters arrived.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
