The snow is expected to move into the Philadelphia region around 4 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25. The snow will become heavy on Sunday around 9 a.m. and continue through 2:30 p.m. before changing to a mix of sleet and freezing rain that could cause icy roads and widespread power outages.A prolonged period of freezing rain and sleet is likely through late Sunday evening.
