1 dead, 2 injured after headon crash in Santa Rosa

A person is dead following a head-on crash early Friday morning in Santa Rosa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At 5:49 a.m., CHP received reports of a three-car collision on Adobe Road, east of Frates Road.
Authorities, citing an investigation, said that a gray Honda CR-V was trave
ling eastbound on Adobe Road when, for unknown reasons, it crossed over the double yellow lines.
Officials said the Honda sideswiped a white Chevrolet Silverado traveling westbound and then collided head-on with a black Toyota Camry, also traveling westbound.
The driver of the Honda CR-V sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to CHP.
The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Toyota Camry was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major but non-life-threatening injuries, Santa Rosa CHP added.
