H Mart, a popular chain of Asian supermarkets across the United States, will open its largest location in Fremont. The supermarket will be located in Pacific Commons Shopping Center, repurposing the former Kohl’s space for the new 100,000+ square foot flagship store. The company said the loc ation will introduce a new concept for its supermarkets. In addition to the grocery store, the supermarket will also be a two-story location including a food hall, entertainment, restaurants and a bar. Construction is expected to start later this year.
