(KRON) -- A fatal crash has led to all westbound lanes being blocked on Tuesday afternoon on the San Mateo Bridge, according to a California Highway Patrol traffic log. The crash happened around 2:47 p.m. on westbound lane two. The crash involved a silver sedan and a white/blue cargo van, CHP traff ic log states. According to CHP Officer Sophie Lu, the occupant of the van was taken to the hospital, and the van's driver stayed on scene. The driver in the sedan was declared deceased at the scene. As of 4:30 p.m., CHP said lane two westbound is set to open soon. A medic and fire department personnel were called to the scene. Drugs and/or alcohol were not a factor in the crash, CHP said.
