Additional snow accumulations 2 to 4 inches,” can be anticipated according to the weat her service. “Lake effect snow bands will mainly affect areas from around Route 28 northward with snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour at times through this evening. Then, the band will weaken after midnight as it lifts northward out of the area by early Wednesday.
