Parkite mogulists Nick Page and Tess Johnson qualified for the Milan Olympics team following the final World Cup before the Games on Friday in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. Page finished in fifth place in the solo moguls competition on Friday, and Johnson, eighth place. Page, Johnson and U.S. teammate Elizabeth Lemley, who finished in second place on Friday, joined Jaelin Kauf, who qualified early following last season, on Team USA. The Milan Games will be Page and Johnson’s second Olympics, while Kauf will be competing in her third and Lemley, her first. The rest of the U.S. Olympic moguls team will be named shortly. On Friday in Waterville Valley, Japan’s Ikuma Horishima walked away with the men’s title, and Australia’s Jakara Anthony, the women’s. Thursday’s competitions were cancelled due to poor weather conditions. The Waterville Valley World Cup replaced the Deer Valley World Cup due to poor snow conditions.
