A 48-year-old cyclist was killed Tuesday morning after he collided with a pickup truck in Queens, police said. The bicycle rider was traveling west on Sanford Ave. in Flushing when a 23-year-old man driving a Ford F 150 truck southbound on 160th St. tried to make a right turn onto Sanford Ave., and the vehicles crashed into each other, cops said. Medics rushed the 48-year-old victim to New York-Presbyterian Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The driver stayed at the scene of the crash.
