DENVER Police in Denver announced Monday that they are investigating a 2-year-olds death as a homicide and later announced an arrest in the case.Police were called to a home in the 100 block of S. Vrain Street in Denver on Sund ay, around 5:30 a.m., on a report of an unresponsive toddler. The 2-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, according to DPD.Later that day, DPD announced Nicholas Stout, 38, faces charges of first-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death in the case.Stout, whose relation to the victim is unknown, was arrested Sunday afternoon, according to DPD, after investigators found probable cause.
