The National Weather Service released a cold weather advisory at 1:16 a.m. on Monday valid from 10 p.m. until Tuesday 10 a.m. for Yates, Steuben, Schuyler and Chemung counties.The weather service describes, “Very cold wind chills as low as 15 degrees below expected.”
