The Monsters finished their five-game road swing with a 6-2 loss on Jan. 18 at Providence. Cleveland (17-14-4-1) dropped both games of the weekend series against the Bruins by a combined 11-2. Owen Sillinger scored both of Cleveland’s goals. They came in the third period after Providence had built a five-goal lead. Sillinger has five goals this season. The Monsters outshot the Bruins, 32-25, but committed seven penalties. Zach Sawchenko started in goal for Cleveland and gave up four goals on 13 shots in 26 minutes.
