After announcing its permanent closure earlier this month, Pruneyard Cinemas issued a statement Friday saying the theater, along with the bar inside of it, will remain open. On Jan. 8, the dine-in movie theater announced it was closing its doors on Jan. 25 after more than five decades. The closur e would’ve included the bar inside the theater, Cedar Room. However, a new announcement on the theater’s website Friday stated both Pruneyard Cinemas and Cedar Room will remain open. According to officials, they were able to reach an agreement with Regency Centers, allowing them to continue serving the community.
