The San Francisco 49ers will be in Seattle for a National Football League playoff game Saturday, but the team is also hosting watch parties in the Bay Area for fans to cheer on the team from afar.
The NFC divisional round playoff game between the 49ers and Seattle Seahawks kicks off at 5 p.m. in
Seattle after San Francisco defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in the wild card round last week.
The 49ers organization is hosting watch parties in San Francisco and San Jose for fans who want to watch the game with their fellow 49er faithful. The parties start at 4 p.m. at Momo’s at 760 Second St. and Cantina Underground at 128 King St. in San Francisco, as well as at San Pedro Social at 163 W. Santa Clara St. in San Jose.

There will be raffles, giveaways and other activities at the parties, where former 49ers players, the mascot Sourdough Sam, and 49ers Gold Rush cheerleaders could make appearances, according to the team.
The 49ers beat the Seahawks in Week 1 of the NFL regular season and had a chance to clinch the NFC’s top playoff seed and a first-round bye but lost to Seattle in the final week of the season.
Super Bowl LX will be at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Feb. 8 and the 49ers would make it a home game if they win Saturday and again in next week’s NFC Championship game.
