(KRON) — An Uber driver was shot in the neck on the 600 block of Wilbur Avenue in Antioch on Jan. 8, the Antioch Police Department told KRON4 News. Officers with Antioch PD responded to the shooting around 10:51 p.m. and found the driver suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The s hooting is thought to be a random act committed by two people in a separate vehicle, Antioch PD said. No arrests have been made in the case. One Person shot dead in the Mission District Uber issued a statement in response to the shooting. “This brazen act of violence is deeply troubling,” an Uber spokesperson told KRON4. “We’re reaching out to the driver to check in with them, and wish them a full recovery.
