Scott VanderWal of Volga was re-elected as Vice President of American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) during the 2026 AFBF Annual Convention, held Jan. 9-14, 2026, in Anaheim, California. Zippy Duvall of Georgia was re-elected as President of AFBF. Duvall and VanderWal were first elected to their posi tions in 2016. This will be their sixth consecutive two-year term serving together. A third-generation corn and soybean farmer and cattle feeder, VanderWal has served as President of South Dakota Farm Bureau (SDFB) for more than two decades.
