CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A dump truck driver who was hauling asphalt received over a dozen citations after Chesterfield Police officers pulled the vehicle over. On Thursday, Jan. 15, the Chesterfield County Police Department announced in a social media post that officers recently found an d removed a "significant public safety threat" after stopping a dump truck that was hauling asphalt. According to police, when the vehicle was inspected, it was found to have "critical safety failures" and was placed out of service.
