Attempted murder suspect arrested in connection with shooting in Windsor

An attempted murder suspect in Windsor turned himself in on Tuesday, according to the Windsor Police Department.
Police said 19-year-old Ricardo Bracamonte Monjaras, of Clearlake, voluntarily turned himself in at the San Rosa Police Department on Tuesday. He was then taken into custody and held
there until the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office and the Windsor Police Department responded, according to officials.
Authorities report Bracamonte Monjaras was wanted in connection with a shooting at Estrella’s Market at around 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
That day, the police department reports Bracamonte Monjaras was inside the store, briefly stepped outside, later re-entered and shot a man. Officials said it is believed one of the rounds ricocheted and struck a store employee in the ankle. Bracamonte Monjaras then left and drove away, according to authorities.
The police department states the victims were taken to the hospital. During the investigation, authorities said detectives obtained information leading to the suspect’s brother, Jesus Bracamonte Monjaras and his father, Guadalupe Bracamonte.
Windsor police informed 23-year-old Jesus Bracamonte Monjaras was arrested on suspicion of felony accessory and misdemeanor carrying a concealed firearm and 54-year-old Guadalupe Bracamonte was arrested on suspicion of felony accessory.
Ricardo later turned himself in at the Santa Rosa Police Department and was transported to the Sonoma County Jail, according to the police department.
