BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A log truck overturned on a road in Brunswick County on Wednesday morning, resulting in a driver being airlifted to a nearby hospital. At about 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, united were dispatched to a reported crash with a person trapped in a log truck in the Ebo ny area of Brunswick County. According to the Ebony Volunteer Fire Department, fire crews arrived on scene and found a single-vehicle crash with a log truck overturned. Fire officials said Central Rescue Squad arrived around the same time as units and took over patient care. Due to the severity of the crash, the driver was airlifted. Crews were cleared from the scene around 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday, though the truck and its logs were beginning to be removed, per the fire department.
