The pieces are handcrafted by Amish woodworkers using traditional techniques focused on durability and long-term use, according to the company. The tenant was represented in the lease by Michael Corchiani and Nicholas Corchiani of SRSA Real Estate. The property is owned by 1st Lake Properties. Owner Patrick Taha said the move marks his first experience navigating the commercial real estate process. He connected with SRSA through an internal referral and worked with the Corchiani team to assess potential locations and leasing considerations before selecting the Severn Avenue site. The location was chosen for its traffic volume, visibility and long-term growth potential, factors that Taha identified as priorities for the business. The site search began in early September and concluded with a lease agreement by late October, a timeline of just over a month. “This deal was built on collaboration and education,” Michael Corchiani said. “Patrick was new to commercial real estate, so our approach was hands-on from day one. We worked through each step together and landed in a location that delivers exactly what mattered most for Maple Oak Amish Furniture.” In addition to securing the lease, the SRSA team connected Maple Oak with contractors and vendors to support the showroom build-out. SRSA said the landlord provided a move-in-ready space and worked collaboratively during negotiations to allow flexibility in designing the showroom.
