The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning at 12:49 p.m. on Wednesday in effect until Friday at 7 a.m. for Jefferson and Lewis counties.The weather service states to prepare for, “Total Snow accumulations 5 to 10 inches. Snow will begin on the Tug Hill Plateau this evening. The gre atest accumulations will be on the Tug Hill Plateau.
