LA2028 Olympic ticket registration begins, some tickets under $30

Ticket registration for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles begins on January 14 at 9 am CT and will remain open until March 18.
Fans who have signed up at LA28.org in that window and are chosen in the lottery will be able to start purchasing tickets on April 2. Those who registered will be n
otified by email starting March 31 if they were assigned to a time slot in the lottery.

After the lottery, the first purchasing window will open from April 2 to April 6, but those will be reserved for people who live near the venues in Southern California and Oklahoma City (where Rapids athletes will compete). Olympic organizers said this will be organized by zip codes. The general public drop will happen between April 9 and April 19.
LA28 organizers said single-event tix will start at $28. Out of the 14 million tickets available for the 2028 Games, one million of them will be available at $28. About one-third of the tickets will be less than $100.

Registrants must be 18 years old at the time of registration.
The Summer Games in Los Angeles will be the first held in the United States since the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta. The 2028 event will make Los Angeles the first city in North America and the third internationally to host three Summer Games.
Paralympic tickets will be available for purchase in 2027. This will be the first time ever that the Paralympics have been held there.
