On Wednesday at 12:57 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from 4 p.m. until Thursday 1 p.m. for Northern Erie as well as Niagara, Orleans, Genesee and Allegany counties.The weather service states to prepare for, “Rain will change to snow by this evening.
