RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Ballet will be performing "Giselle" for the first time in 15 years during Valentine's Day weekend. In a press release shared by the Richmond Ballet on Monday, Jan. 13, the company announced that it will be presenting "Giselle" at the Dominion Energy Center durin g the weekend of Feb. 13 to Feb. 15 for the first time in 15 years. This timeless story shares the tale of love, betrayal and redemption through classical music and choreography, per a release. This production of the ballet will include costumes and sets from the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, creating a new look for Richmond audiences. It is a ballet that reminds us of love’s fragility, strength, and enduring power.” Performance dates are as listed: Friday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. For tickets and more information, visit the Richmond Ballet website here. ...read more read less
