The Commission should honor the public’s efforts over decades to protect this oasis, New Jersey’s Central Park on the Hudson.  To approve this plan would not only be a slap in the face of Jersey City residents and the park’s many visitors, but also would also set a terrible precedent, likely to be exploited by billionaire Paul Fireman in his ongoing efforts to take Caven Point and have stadiums built.
