(BCN) -- Tuesday in the Bay Area calls for mostly sunny and clear skies, according to the National Weather Service. Daytime highs will be mostly in the high 60s to low 70s on the coast, in the low to mid 60s around the bay, and in the high 50s to high 60s inland. Overnight lows will be mostly in th e low to mid 40s, with interior areas dropping to the high 50s. Chilly morning conditions across parts of the Bay Area and Central Coast are expected to give way to warmer daytime temps on Tuesday as dry weather and light offshore winds settle in, forecasters say. Patchy fog developed overnight in parts of Sonoma County, including the Russian River Valley and the northern Santa Rosa Plain, but visibility is expected to improve after sunrise, according to the NWS. A cold weather advisory will remain in effect through 9 a.m. for inland valleys of the North Bay and East Bay and parts of the interior Central Coast. Meanwhile, skies are expected to be mostly clear, with brief morning wind gusts of 15 to 20 mph possible near the Golden Gate and the Pajaro Valley, according to the NWS. An elevated risk of sneaker waves is expected along the coast through Thursday. Forecasters say the quiet pattern should last through the week, with a possible change next week.
