LINTON, Ind. (WISH) — A male and a female were found dead with gunshot wounds in a home in this Greene County town, Indiana State Police said in a news release issued Monday afternoon. The release did not identify the two people found dead but noted autopsies were pending. Indiana State Police detectives are investigating the case. The Linton Police Department requested help at about 9:15 p.m. Sunday after discovering the bodies in a home on Eighth Street Northwest, a two-block street with a business and some homes extending north from State Road 54. Police said they do not believe an ongoing threat exists but did not provide any additional information on what may have led to the shooting, whether it’s considered to involve foul play, or whether a suspect is being sought.
