INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Tell your sweetheart they are the only one FUR you! The Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN) has opened sales for its annual fundraiser, “Puppy Love Valentines,” where a dog in training delivers your special someone a Valentines Day gift box! All proceeds sup port ICAN, which is Indiana’s only accredited service dog organization. Each dog goes through a rigorous two-year training program, most of which are led by incarcerated individuals at three different Indiana correctional facilities. “This unique model transforms lives on both ends of the leash, offering purpose, skill‑building, and hope for the handlers who help train the dogs,” ICAN said in a release Monday. Training a single service dog can cost up to $30,000. ICAN relies solely on private donations, charitable foundations, and community fundraisers such as Puppy Love Valentines to ensure more Hoosiers with disabilities receive the support they deserve. Gift boxes are available for purchase now through Friday, Feb. 6, with prices ranging from $50–$65.
