South Carolina Department of Transportation   RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT will close the right westbound lane of Elmwood Avenue for bridge repairs over the weekend, say officials. The South Carolina Department of Transportation says the closure will take place on on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The lane is expected to reopen by Monday, January 19. Officials sat these dates may change depending on weather conditions. SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through the area.
